Michael Elyanow

Michael Elyanow is the author of over two dozen plays, screenplays and television scripts. Recent theatre productions include Lullaby at Theater Latte Da (2016) and Robyn Is Happy at The B Street Theatre (2013). The Children was produced in fall 2016 at Pillsbury House Theatre, following its production at The Theatre @ Boston Court in 2012, which received a GLAAD Award for Outstanding Production. A Lasting Mark, commissioned by Hartford Stage, was part of Manhattan Theatre Club’s 2011 7@7 Series. Splitseconds, a commission from the Carleton College Theatre Department, was produced in 2014. The Idiot Box, Michael’s first play, received its world premiered in 2003 at Chicago’s Naked Eye Theatre, and moved on to an extended, critically-acclaimed run at LA’s Open Fist Theatre in 2007. Short plays include Banging Ann Coulter, Game/Over and A Few More Dumb Propositions. Michael recently developed a television pilot with Tagline Pictures, the producers of PSYCH. Mr. Elyanow spends his time writing in Minneapolis and LA.
