Flip Kobler
Flip Kobler began his performing career as an actor before morphing into a writer. Since selling their first screenplay to Paramount Studios, Mr. Kobler and his wife/partner Cindy Marcus, have been penning away for the last fifteen years. Universal bought another original screenplay.
Star Trek Deep Space Nine bought an episode entitled 'Profit and Loss.' Mr. Kobler and Ms. Marcus spent five years on staff at Disney where they wrote many a sequel, including
The Lion King II, Beauty and the Beast II, Pocahontas II, Lady and the Tramp II, and
The Hunchback of Notre Dame II. Their live action film
Jack and the Beanstalk starring, James Earl Jones, Christopher Lloyd, Chevy Chase, Wallace Shawn, Katey Sagal, and Gilbert Godfried is available at Netflix or Amazon.com.
Mr. Kobler is also the co-author of the theatrical text book
