SIX made its world premiere at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2017, presented by Cambridge University Musical Theatre Society. After a successful UK tour, the show opened on 30 August 2018 for a six-week run at the Arts Theatre in the West End. The current West End production, which opened on 17 January 2019, is now playing at the Lyric Theatre. In May 2019, SIX premiered in North America at the Chicago Shakespeare Theater (CST). The Broadway production of SIX, scheduled to open on March 12, 2020, resumed performances at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on September 17, 2021, officially opening on October 3.
