The Evolution of Mann follows Henry Mann, a thirty-something-year-old single New Yorker eager to settle down… or so he thinks. After receiving an invitation to his ex-fiancée’s wedding, Henry and his lesbian roommate embark on a quest to find his soulmate, his perfect date.

The Evolution of Mann premiered off-Broadway at the Cell Theatre on 23 September 2018. Directed by Joe Barros, the production featured Max Crumm, Allie Trimm and Leslie Hiatt.

HENRY MANN – Our eager and romantically-challenged hero, thirty-two years old, recently invited to his ex-fiancée’s wedding; legal proofreader by night, frustrated writer by day. Henry is someone with one foot rooted in the past who spends much of his time projecting into the future.

GWEN – Henry’s best friend and roommate; gay, recently split from her wife.
HARVEY TRITONE – A lounge singer.
JIM – An ex-boyfriend.
