Summary

Everybody's Talking About Jamie: Teen Edition is a full-length adaptation of the hit musical, modified for performance by teen actors. Specifically, vocal ranges and some elements have been adjusted for younger performers.

1. All performers must be aged 19 and under.

2. All productions must be non-replica (do not replicate costumes, scenery, choreography or staging from the original production).

Jamie New is 16 and lives on a council estate in Sheffield. Jamie doesn’t quite fit in. Jamie is terrified about the future. Jamie is going to be a sensation.

Supported by his brilliant, loving mum and surrounded by his friends, Jamie overcomes prejudice, beats the bullies, and steps out of the darkness into the spotlight.

Sixteen: the edge of possibility. Time to make your dreams come true.

History
