Overview
Colin and Tony sit in Colin's back garden, their conversation punctuated by gales of laughter from their wives in the kitchen. The wives, Steph and Maddy, reveal the laughter had been about their husbands' visits to therapy groups. Both men have been having panic attacks. As the party degenerates, Tony makes an attempt to attack his wife. The second act of this fine play finds him in a mental asylum, doped into inertia, with Colin a less aggressive, but frighteningly manic, fellow patient.
