Maddie is an actress and writer. As a writer,she has worked with SOHO THEATRE writer’s lab. HANDY, a sitcom she wrote in collaboration with Kate Kennedy, is currently being made into a pilot by RTE. As an actress she has performed in Fleabag (Soho Theatre/ UK/ AUS tour), Villain (Kings Head Theatre), All My Sons (Regents Park Theatre), Henry V (West End), Every Blank Ever, I live with Models (Comedy Central), Who Killed Laura Kitchens, Call The Midwife (BBC). It explores the grey areas surrounding guilt, grief and shame and how we react to them in modern culture.
Stranger danger, heartbreak and piña coladas are on the syllabus in the hilarious debut play by Maddie Rice.
