Keli Goff

Keli Goff’s play The Glorious World of Crowns, Kinks and Curls recently concluded an acclaimed run at Baltimore Center Stage. Featuring Black women sharing humorous and heartbreaking stories about their hair, the streaming production was extended due to popular demand and was championed by women nationwide, among them the trailblazing model Beverly Johnson and pioneering feminist Gloria Steinem.

Currently a writer and producer on the new Sex and the City reboot And Just Like That, Keli is also a journalist and essayist whose work has appeared in Time, The Washington Post, The Root, Vogue and Essence, among others. She has previously written for the television series Twenties, Black Lightning and Being Mary Jane, for which she was awarded a 2016 NAACP Image Award. She was also nominated for two News Emmy Awards for her work on the documentary Reversing Roe (Netflix, 2018).

Keli continues to serve as a contributor to The Daily Beast and to various NPR affiliates, most notably for KCRW’s Left, Right & Center.

Born and raised in Texas, she is a graduate of N.Y.U. and Columbia University.
